Alexander King hat auf Philips im Duett mit Nana Gualdi gesungen (True true Happiness/Was wär das alles ohne dich). Ausserdem gibt es ebenfalls auf Philips eine Single eines Alexander King Trios (Gitarren Jacky/Kim Joe).
Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass der Duettpartner Alexander King und der Leader der "Alexander King-Trios" identisch sind.
Nur: Ich finde keine biografische Angaben über den Mann. Wer weiss etwas?
Der Interpret interessiert mich, weil er gemeinsam mit Nana Gualdi eine Coverversion von "Was wär das alles ohne dich", dem Siegertitel des "1. Deutschen Schlagerfestivals" im Jahre 1959, einsang.

Alexander King was in fact Alex Glasgow who was at that time teaching English in Bremen.
Upon returning to the UK he began working at the BBC and recorded several folk albums as well as writing stage plays,TV series and weekly topical songs for the BBC.
He emigrated to Australia in 1981 following a series of concerts there for the Perth International Arts Festival.
